Applications Open for St. Tammany, St. Bernard and Washington Parish Art Grant Program

The Louisiana Project Grant Program (LGP) is offering grants for art projects in St. Bernard, St. Tammany and Washington Parishes, and is accepting applications through July 1, 2024.

The Louisiana Region 9 Arts Council, which administers the program for St. Bernard, St. Tammany and Washington parishes, will conduct an informational workshop explaining the program guidelines and how to complete application forms.

The St. Tammany Parish workshop will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, in the St. Tammany Parish Government conference room in Building B, 21410 Koop Drive, Mandeville. 

The St. Bernard Parish workshop will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 17, in the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex, Council Chambers Conference Room, 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive Chalmette (east side of complex, enter through side door entrance). 

The Washington Parish workshop will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 14 at the Bogalusa Branch Library located at 304 Avenue F, Bogalusa.

The 2024-25 Louisiana Project Grants Arts Funding program provides grants to artists, nonprofit organizations, community groups and local government agencies to assist with art projects that meet local needs. All projects must occur between Oct. 1, 2024, and Sept. 30, 2025 and eligible applicants may apply for up to 2 project grants per application cycle.
