STPAS is teaming up with the Mandeville Fire Department for a new pet adoption partnership that will kick off Saturday, April 22nd
The first event will be held at the St. Tammany Parish Fire District #4 located at 709 Girod Street, from 9am to 1pm. The public will have the opportunity to adopt dogs onsite from the parish's open admission and no-kill shelter, as well as participate in fire safety and pet preparedness activities.
St. Tammany Parish Fire District #4 Chief, Kenneth Moore, and Animal Services Director, Rob Bremer, hope the community will come out to adopt their own "furred responder" with the shelter currently at maximum capacity.
